Experience the Tuacahn Amphitheatre and Center for the Arts built in the shadow of 1500 foot spectacular red rock cliffs. The intimate, outdoor theatre has regular professional performances in a brilliant, natural red rock setting. In 1999, Tuacahn began operation of the Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts. The first charter school in the state of Utah, Tuacahn High School is a fully-accredited college preparatory high school with an emphasis on singing, dancing, acting, and instrumental performance.

Dixie State College offers a wide variety of degrees and certificate programs, including an educational partnership with the University of Utah that began in 2007. The Institute for Continued Learning (ICL) is also available for retired and semi-retired individuals, as is the DSC Elderhostel program. The Dixie Business Alliance and the Washington County Economic Development Council, which offers a number of services to area businesses, are headquartered on the DSC campus.

Dixie Regional Medical Center is a 245-bed hospital located on two campuses – River Road and 400 East. Located in St. George, Utah, Dixie Regional Medical Center is the major medical referral center for northwestern Arizona, southeastern Nevada and southern Utah. Dixie Regional has many programs and has received many national awards with much recognition.

Washington County has been named the fastest growing area in Utah. & with a population of only about 150,000 it´s certain to continue to grow at a fast but controlled pace. With such solid population growth, St. George Real Estate & Washington County Real Estate is in great demand. St. George is the largest city within Washington County, with the City of Hurricane gaining ground quickly.

Washington County is close to the world’s best-known entertainment city, Las Vegas, Nevada & it’s just a short 120 mile drive South on I-15, on the way you’ll find yourself passing Mesquite, Nevada which is about 40 miles from St. George.
